How do I assemble my receiver collar? PDF Print E-mail

Assembly Instructions

The following photographs illustrate how your Invisible Fence R21 Receiver assembly is integrated with your dog's collar. The holes in your collar should be clean cut and of the proper size; and, if nylon fabric they should be slightly melted to prevent unraveling. The receiver threaded contacts must protrude cleanly through the holes and fit into the recessed sections of the retaining strip. Otherwise, especially because of accumulated debris, the efficiency of the receiver may be diminished if not rendered totally ineffective. This may also deplete batteries. You should keep the space between the two posts clear of fur, oils, grass, mud, etc., to avoid short-circuit. If you use a wrench to tighten the posts to the assembly, do not over-tighten. You risk stripping the threads which is not covered by the factory warranty. Use the blue post tool if you have it!
