Occasionally, batteries inside the receiver need to be replaced or the transmitter may be damaged or not receiving power. First, test that the transmitter has power, then test the receiver. A good indication that your Invisible Fence is not functioning properly: 

1. There is no audible sound from the receiver detected at the fence line.
2. Your dog is going across the line with no correction.
